Steam and Website Readiness

May 2026

A public-facing pass focused on clearer update messaging, better game-menu routing, VR-safe interface behavior, and more reliable run tracking.

Menu Cleaner public routing Steam, website, and Discord paths are easier to find.
Story Better prompt timing Opening, Wisp, and village guidance now better match context.
VR/UI Safer interactions New Game, popup, and run-progress presentation received polish.
Combat More readable runs Boss portals, Party AI, NPC tactics, and save compatibility improved.

Website and Main Menu

  • Refreshed the Early Access panel with clearer recent changes and upcoming goals.
  • Added easier access to the website and Discord from the game menu.
  • Removed development-only menu tools from the public-facing menu.

Story and Wisp Guidance

  • Improved opening story prompts, village naming moments, and Wisp guidance timing.
  • Cleaned up stale tutorial guidance so prompts better match the current context.
  • Improved village story prompts for upgrades, clouds, roads, demolition, and terraforming.

VR and UI

  • Improved VR-safe New Game selection controls.
  • Improved story and event popups across VR and normal PC mode.
  • Polished run-progress tracking for treasure, elites, banners, and keys.

Combat and Exploration

  • Improved boss portal placement, proximity checks, and floating combat text.
  • Improved Party AI ability choices and NPC tactics behavior.
  • Improved older-save compatibility for playthrough event tracking.
